Volunteers are the heart of Philippine Festival Mississauga. Each year, dedicated volunteers help us welcome the community, support festival operations, assist guests, and celebrate Filipino culture, heritage, and community spirit.

Volunteering at Philippine Festival Mississauga is a meaningful way to get involved, meet new people, develop valuable skills, and contribute to one of Canada’s largest Filipino outdoor festivals.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at Philippine Festival Mississauga gives students and community members the opportunity to:

• Earn community involvement hours required for high school graduation

• Develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Gain hands-on experience working at a large community event

• Meet new friends and network with community leaders and professionals

• Contribute to celebrating Filipino heritage, culture, and community spirit

• Receive a volunteer certificate upon successful completion of assigned duties

• Application Deadline: August 24, 2026

• Mandatory Volunteer Orientation: August 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM (Location: Hazel McCallion Central Library)
